Starbucks' Egg Bites are a healthy and delicious grab-and-go option, making them a fantastic choice for busy mornings. I often worry about the strong smells of Korean cuisine lingering on me when I'm rushing to the office, potentially making a poor impression on my international colleagues. However, the Egg Bites are a worry-free breakfast that I can enjoy without concern.

That said, buying them from Starbucks every day isn't exactly budget-friendly. That's why I decided to make a big batch of homemade Egg Bites for meal prep. This recipe is simple yet nutritious, making it perfect for breakfast or a quick snack that can be easily reheated.

Feel free to customize the fillings to suit your family's tastes. And be sure to check out the tips for alternative toppings - there are some great options to mix things up!

📌 Topping Tips

Experiment with various toppings to create different flavors!

📍 Use ingredients that are low in moisture. Excess moisture can affect the texture of your Egg Bites.

There are many different ingredients you can use for your Egg Bites, so feel free to try different toppings based on your family's preferences.

- **Cheese:** Add your favorite cheeses like cheddar, mozzarella, or gorgonzola to enhance the flavor.

- **Vegetables:** Incorporate a variety of vegetables such as spinach, bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms to boost nutrition and add color. Make sure to use them without excess moisture. If the vegetables contain a lot of water, sprinkle with salt and let them sit for 10 minutes to draw out the moisture before using. This way, you'll enjoy a fresh taste without sogginess after thawing.

- **Meats:** Consider adding protein-rich ingredients like bacon, sausage, or ground beef.

- **Spices:** Season with salt, pepper, parsley, or herbs for added flavor.

Nuts, everything bagel seasoning, and sun-dried tomatoes are also great options! These ingredients can be combined and customized to suit your taste, helping you create healthy and delicious Egg Bites.

📍 Since the batter contains a lot of cheese, it may be a bit salty, so adjust the amount of salty ingredients (like bacon) accordingly.

Start your day with hearty and convenient Egg Bites! 😊
